Where is Kinini Paati?
Kinini Paati is a tourist residence that is beautifully located on the Ferulasi Rapids on the Suriname River, in the Brokopondo district. This district is bordered by the Para district in the north and Sipaliwini in the east, south and west.
What will you be doing on this trip?
In the morning you will leave for Atjoni by bus, the border between road and water. On the way you will have lunch. From Atjoni you will go to the beautifully located Kinini paati by boat (about 1 ½ hour sailing). On arrival at Kinini paati, the island can be explored and you will have the opportunity to go swimming. You can spend the rest of the day to your liking. You will be staying in a beautiful holiday home with a veranda overlooking the Ferulasi Rapids! Shower and toilet are in the lodges.
After a nice breakfast on day 2 you will go to the maroon village Gunsi. From Gunsi you will have a walk through the forest to the village New Aurora. Here you can buy some souvenirs. You will go to the Ferulasi rapids by boat. After that you will return to Kinini Paati for lunch. In the afternoon you will get the opportunity to paddle or fish. After dinner at you will go spot caymans (nightly cayman trip). And on request and against payment, a cultural dance show of Saramaccan women can be organized.
Day 3 can be spend to your liking. After lunch you will depart by boat to Atjoni and then by bus to Paramaribo.

What is included?
Transportation by bus-boat, all meals and fruit, water, juice /syrup, coffee /tea.
Possible food restrictions will be taken into account.
Soft drinks, alcoholic beverages, dance and music performance are not included

- 2 Towels and swimwear
- Shorts, t-shirts, shirts with long sleeves and long trousers for the evening
- Proper footwear with profile/ watershoes
- Sunscreen lotion, toiletries and mosquito gel
